Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Act as business and financial advisor for the assigned group of Project Manager and cluster leaders.
- Familiarisation and implementation of ASC 606, warranty policy and any other changes of policies issued by the Group and local Indian statutory requirement.
- Reviewing Project financial, risk management and identify risk and opportunity along with PM and put forward the potential impact financially and to discuss with management.
- Manage cash by following up actual figures and forecasts.
- Review project financial to ensure timeliness in invoicing and follow up closely on project billing milestone.
- Prepare periodic project reviews with all relevant business and financial analysis.
- Risk-management: propose adequate mitigation for minimizing risk and exposure
- Participate at the overall project budgeting process and be able to question the cost, risk and cash position
- Provide and prepare supporting for quarterly account reconciliation.
- Provide supporting to external auditor based on project sampling results.
- Communicate with internal factory in terms of billing milestone and payment schedule and transfer pricing topic.
- To aware and be involve in new initiative or changes due to org change, system change or process change.
- Be able to explain to project manager on the financial impact and to educate on changes in policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- This role requires 8+ Yrs of experience in Contract accounting, project controller experience
- Bachelor's degree in commerce is required.
- Good understanding of SAP and strong experience in advanced Excel advantage.
- Ability to perform as an individual contributor or collaboratively in a team, with proven interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Problem solving, analytical skills and ability to address multiple competing deadlines in a strong matrix organization.
