Job Description Summary

To provide basic design, to manage detailed execution, to deliver required engineering document for procurement, manufacturing and site erection.

To deliver the proper performance of design done considering (man days), deadline and quality, promoting ease of installation, operation and maintenance of the system in line with contractual requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To lead the technical analysis and strategy during tendering stage which related to cost, time, delivery, resources, risks and opportunities, as well as project execution strategy. Provide the best solution with cost time effective in the design realization.
• Deliver principal design and review detailed design, validate the design quality to meet the project requirements, international standards in electrical engineering. Ensure the design comply with applicable local EHS and regulation.
• Ensure on time delivery of works within budget and meet quality requirements as per customer expectation stipulated in the contract.
• Liable for technical compliance and design consistency. Resolve any technical issue with customer and responsible in the taking decision satisfactory to customer requirements.
• Govern quality procedure is performed in the design process. Ensure accountability of design process, well project documentation, records of changes and the impacts in a traceable documentation.
• Manage design process within third parties or subcontractors to ensure the process and quality of works to meet project requirements.
• Support procurement, site team, and subcontractor/manufacturer or third party, by providing reference documents, conduct design review, technical supports, method of statement.
• Empower and inspire young engineer within the team to grow and deliver the works to meet project requirements and building the team spirit to gain team performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree of Electrical Engineering
• More than 10 years' experience in AC Substation Design.
• Willingness to work in different locations for short or medium period and to travel world-wide when required.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering of transmission & distribution and Industrial network system.
• Basic knowledge of Transmission & Distribution project execution process, from tendering, engineering phase, procurement, site execution, pre-commissioning and commissioning stage
