Job Description Summary

Les rôles seront généralement en service partagé ; peuvent prendre en charge plusieurs activités, mais pas nécessairement. Les experts en la matière entreront généralement dans cette catégorie. Généralement, emplois au siège et PAS sur un site. Pour les rôles en relation avec le client, utiliser la famille QSE opérationnel. Responsable de la planification et/ou de l'exécution des opérations du département ou axé sur l'exécution d'activités professionnelles au sein d'une discipline technique. Fonctions dotées d'une certaine autonomie, mais guidées par les politiques établies ou l'analyse des résultats finaux.
Ce poste est autorisé à modifier les procédures et les pratiques en relation avec les tâches dans la mesure où les résultats finaux répondent aux normes d'acceptabilité (qualité, volume, respect des délais, etc.).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Individuals with expertise in a specific area, such as industrial hygiene, injury & illness, ergonomics, electrical safety, process safety management, etc. and/or providing general health & safety advice and support for multiple sites or a region. Note: Individuals located a specific site who support only that site should be classified as "Operational, Fixed Facilities," even if they have a specific area of expertise unless they also support multiple sites or service operations. May include individuals supporting services, projects and construction.*
• Expertise in air, water, waste, hazardous materials transportation, product regulation (REACH, WEE, RoHs, etc.) and sustainable development (CSR) and supplier management. Note: Individuals located at a site providing environmental support to that site alone should be classified as "Operational, Fixed Facilities," unless they support multiple sites or service operations. May include individuals supporting services, projects and construction. May include Technical Experts who are individuals that have expertise in transactional investigation work and property remediation for purposes of acquisition or disposition.
• Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Required Qualifications

• This role requires advanced experience in the Environmental Health & Safety & Health and Safety. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
