Job Description Summary

The Inventory Leader oversees daily warehousing and inventory control activities for new and serviceable parts. This position is responsible for delivering world class customer service to internal customers at Aero Alliance as well as ensuring the highest possible standard of inventory accuracy. The Inventory Leader will drive inventory strategy, operational discipline, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with the Shop, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and EHS teams. This role provides strong on site leadership, governance, and performance oversight to ensure safety, inventory accuracy, material availability, and cost performance in support of Aero Alliance's operational and customer commitments.The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, movement, and issue of materials to support services, materials management, sourcing or customer demand.
  • Own inventory accuracy through cycle count governance, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Lead Physical Inventory prework, planning, organization, counts and reconciliation across the plant once a year.
  • Partner with planning, sourcing, and production teams to prevent material shortages and disruptions.
  • Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy and system integrity, meeting internal control, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Accountable to ensure that material arriving into the facility from the supply base and factories is fully accounted for and received into inventory in a timely manner.
  • Develop and execute inventory optimization strategies to reduce excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory.
  • Maintain accurate ERP transactions and reporting (Oracle preferred).
  • Ensure compliance with EHS and Quality standards, including safe material handling and storage.
  • Participate in safety walks, incident investigations, and corrective action follow-up.
  • Ensure warehouse processes support quality, preservation, damage prevention, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in and drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company objectives.
  • Leverage continuous improvement tools (Lean, Kaizen, problem solving).
  • Support cost reduction initiatives while maintaining service and safety standards.
  • Support labor and capacity planning discussions to support customer deliverables.
  • Provide visibility to risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities to leadership
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and contract management activities related to warehouse operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of inventory and supply chain experience or a high school diploma/GED and at least 6 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or supply chain experience.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, Lean, and ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Experience supporting inventory control processes (cycle counting, physical inventories).
  • Experience in Shop Operations/Production Scheduling/Material Planning.
  • Strong computer skills / MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Ability to work Overtime on weekends (as needed) by the business to support warehouse.

    Demonstrated Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience, improving inventory accuracy, reducing E&O, and enhancing material flow

    Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data to drive decisions

    Proven success in applying Lean Manufacturing principles and driving process improvements on the shop floor.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,700.00 and $152,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: ineligible.
