Job Description

• Supplier Identification and Evaluation:
  
  
  • Conduct research to identify potential suppliers for engineering components and materials.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality standards, and financial stability.
  • Prepare detailed reports on supplier evaluations.
• Communication and Negotiation:
  
  
  • Establish initial contact with potential suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure supplier offerings meet project requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  
  
  • Maintain accurate records of all supplier interactions and negotiations.
  • Prepare and present regular updates to the engineering team on supplier development progress.
  • Assist in the creation of supplier performance metrics and dashboards.
• Support Engineering Projects:
  
  
  • Provide support to ongoing engineering projects by sourcing necessary components and materials.
  • Work closely with engineers to understand project needs and timelines.
• Continuous Improvement:
  
  
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in the supplier development process.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions for enhancing supplier relationships and performance.
