Job Description Summary

The Mechanical Engineer will be able to work under the supervision Mechanical Leader in the preparation of detail design and technical analysis.

Job Description

  • Create preliminary calculation and mechanical drawing for both project and tender execution, Bill of Material of related part/component (core frame, clamping platform) and detail lead exit.
  • Perform and manage mechanical design via coordination of various activities, such as create Bill of Material, create analysis report for tank/material strength, seismic calculation, Finite Element Method (FEM) for some special projects and support production team to ensure production process run properly and meets requirements of the customer specifications.
  • Apply engineering fundamentals to practical problem-solving involving design and production process.
  • Occasionally contact outside suppliers and customer related to design activities.
  • Comply with EHS directives, participate in EHS program and proactively involve in improving EHS culture.
  • Continuously do improvement to shorten the lead time of mechanical design process (create automation, standardization).
  • Have a good coordination with industrial team in support of achieving the product with no errors, worker's safety, environmental concern and cost efficiency.
