Job Description Summary

The Indirect Sourcing Site Lead will drive strategic sourcing initiatives and commercial activities supporting indirect spend categories across Electrification Business in North America Region. This role is responsible for leading competitive sourcing events, contract negotiations, supplier management, and cost optimization initiatives while partnering closely with site leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

The position focuses on developing sourcing strategies, executing RFx processes, negotiating commercial agreements, mitigating supply and contractual risks, and delivering measurable business value through savings, operational efficiency, and supplier performance improvements.

The team works a hybrid schedule with both remote and office workdays. 3 times in the office per week.10% travel national and international will be required - as/when needed

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and commercial activities for indirect spend categories including services, MRO, facilities, logistics, CAPEX support, engineering services, temporary labor, and other operational indirect commodities.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives, operational requirements, and cost reduction targets.
  • Analyze supplier quotations, commercial proposals, market conditions, and total cost of ownership to support sourcing decisions.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, service agreements, master service agreements (MSA), statements of work (SOW), and other contractual documents to protect business interests and improve commercial conditions.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Operations, Engineering, EHS, Quality, and Project Management teams to review contractual risks and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Drive supplier performance improvements related to cost, delivery, quality, responsiveness, and contractual compliance.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction, cash flow improvement, supplier consolidation, and productivity initiatives across indirect spend categories.
  • Support supplier selection, qualification, and supplier development activities including assessment of technical capability, operational capacity, financial stability, and risk exposure.
  • Lead supplier business reviews and performance discussions to improve supplier accountability and operational execution.
  • Resolve commercial disputes, contract issues, invoice discrepancies, and supplier claims in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop spend analysis, sourcing reports, savings tracking, and procurement performance metrics to support business decisions and leadership reviews.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with regional and global sourcing teams to leverage preferred suppliers, sourcing strategies, and best practices.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $72,700.00 and $121,100.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
