Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement & Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with customers to understand and define their requirements.
- Convert business requirements into technical requirements and estimate technical effort.
- Act as a functional consultant and technical lead on engagements.
- Technical Leadership & Solution Delivery:
- Lead the implementation, integration, and upgrade of technical solutions.
- Drive technical analysis activities including requirements gathering, gap analysis, and bridging gaps through configuration or customization.
- Contribute to the definition of GEV's Digital Products and Solution architecture.
- Work with Solution Design, Application experts, Configuration Management, Solution Integration, Engineering, and Global Delivery Centers.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the organization.
- Project Management & Coordination:
- Build and manage effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and track activities.
- Coordinate with Project Managers for scope, risk, and problem management.
- Performance & Continuous Improvement:
- Implement software delivery performance measurement indicators.
- Drive excellence in execution through continuous improvement and change management.
- Ensure compliance with software delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
- Optimize deployment processes using Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Test automation.
- Technical Support & Product Installation:
- Provide technical support to commercial teams and contribute to sales process improvement.
- Actively participate in early-stage product installations and create efficient delivery processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Networking, Software Development, or related field.
- Five (5) years of progressive experience in enterprise software, large distributed systems, or a combination thereof.
- Proven experience in Services: software systems development and commissioning, with operation (project delivery) background.
- Technical knowledge in DevOps and Agile methodology.
Eligibility Requirements
- Candidates who apply for this position must be willing to work in a hybrid model, requiring them to be present in the office for 3 days a week at one of the GEV Hubs located in the areas listed in the job posting.
- Eligible candidates must be able to work in the US, without requiring sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Strong communications skills in English
- Willingness to travel
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS), Distribution Management Systems (DMS), or Market Management Systems (MMS).
- Strong background in integration aspects related to multi-energy computer systems.
- Software development experience with Java / C++ / Powershell /perl / python programming and scripting languages.
- Source control and change management process and tool experience. (TFS, SVN, GitHub).
- Knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity environments including Linux and Windows operating systems, Relational Databases, HW infrastructure, High Availability multitier architectures, Telecom, and Network Equipment.

Relocation Assistance Provided: No
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,400.00 and $152,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
