What impact you'll make

RVS Production control leader is responsible for supporting the execution of the RVS MMO priorities across the whole repair shop network. This position will be a cross-functional role, incorporating input from multiple groups with the customers' needs as the primary focus. Driving actions across the RVS and MMO teams to deliver focused improvements in business performance. Main focus areas are Materials Safety, customer order management, customs controls, production planning and output, capacity analysis, Warehousing, COGS and Inventory levels. Support the coordination of the S&OP supply planning inputs and Fallout estimated requirements. The leader will ensure all the business reporting processes/standards are adhered to and required actions are completed on time. As a global leader your role will also include supporting/coaching materials operations, system integration, oversight and support for the MMO teams in service centers.

Job Description

What you'll do

  • Support the site Materials teams to develop and deploy RVS standard Materials processes.
  • Review and drive problem solving and actions relating to delivering the MMO priorities.
  • Support the sites inventory leaders to deliver: -
  • Total Inventory (including WIP) and delivery of inventory turns/DIO and COGS targets
  • Deployment of BIQ, Warehouse standards (inc. WMS).
  • Safety improvements in RVS warehouses (eg. Forklift elimination).
  • 100% Material availability derived from the Clear to Build Process
  • Stocking strategy, PEFP and ERP material planning configuration/setting
  • Support the sites Master production schedulers to deliver:
  • Customer On-time Delivery and Customer escalations.
  • Customs clearance and temporary Import/export agreements.
  • 100% Budget Attainment within Production team and Subcontracting suppliers.
  • Develop SIOP Supply planning and growth projects.
  • Maintain global fallout requirements and shortage COGS and outage Impact
  • Holding the Materials teams Accountable for using the defined ERP processes and standards.
  • Drive/Lead Global standards in Materials processes, by sharing best practices / read across.
  • Support financial BP and planning processes with accurate analysis as required
  • Support any ad-hoc analysis based on management needs.
  • Active participation in mandatory EHS trainings and events.
  • Active participant in the daily GENBA walks, highlighting any concerns or constraints driving a problem-solving culture. Use Leader standard work to make sure all Standard works are met.
  • Further tasks not involved in this Job Description, that the direct leader/manager assigns verbally or in writing.
  • Travel to sites to support Kaizens and business improvements as required ~ 10% travel time

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with major experience in manufacturing or planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and problem solve with internal and external customers at multiple levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated understanding of lean concepts.
  • Relevant experience in ERP system, strong SAP knowledge.
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer-literate and competent in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
