General Assembler

Job Description Summary

Perform specific manufacturing tasks and follow company procedures using drawings and schematics to assemble components. Maintain compliance with quality standards and assemble components into finished products.

Job Description

Essential Duties:
• 1-Comply with the work plan and priorities assigned by the Team Leader and the Production Coordinator.
2-Assemble products at different workstations according to the instructions provided in the drawings and the PCP (Process Control Plan).
3-Perform a visual inspection of the product, verifying that the assembly of the parts is correct and that it complies with the established quality standards.
4-Complete daily tasks/goals within the established time frame without neglecting compliance with our quality standards.
5-Keep your work areas clean and process Non-Conforming (NC) material on a daily basis.
6-Participation in plant initiatives such as continuous improvement, among others.
7-Perform their work and assigned tasks following tables, production drawings, plans and any visual aid that applies.
8-Notify "team leaders" and/or engineer of any NON-CONFORMING material or defective products.
9-Use "Personal Protective Equipment" (PPE), report unsafe situations and keep the work area clean, apply the "Stop Work" policy when applicable.
10- Perform 5S audits in their work areas as assigned.
11-Perform another function as required by the supervisor.

Requirements
• High school diploma.
• Know and comply with production requirements.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure, in stressful situations and long periods of time.
• Teamwork oriented.
• Must be able to stand and sit most of the time with occasional walking.
• Push and pull from 20 to 40 pounds.
