Job Description Summary

The GEV Master Data Management (MDM) Leader is accountable for implementing a Master Data Management program with an initial focus on delivering a fully operational Business Partner Master, including Customer, Supplier, and Legal Entity domains. Cross-functional collaboration and visionary leadership are essential, as the MDM Leader will bridge business functions and segments to facilitate organizational change and advance GEV's data-driven culture. By fostering alignment and engagement across teams, the leader will accelerate adoption of the MDM standards, embed best practices, and ensure that master data becomes a strategic asset fueling business growth and operational center of excellence. This includes designing and implementing robust processes, governance frameworks, and technology solutions to ensure data consistency and integrity. Key deliverables also include the successful selection, integration, and ongoing management of an enterprise MDM tool, in partnership with Digital Technology (DT).

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop the MDM vision in alignment with business objectives and promote benefits and lead change management.
  • Bring business expertise to the MDM program to ensure it is aligned with GE Vernova values and needs. Leverage a strong understanding of our business processes to ensure solutions are practical and aligned with operations.
  • Provide strategic leadership for large-scale implementation of the GEV MDM program, process improvements, and change management across all segments and functions. Identify and manage implementation risks.
  • Navigate complex organizational dynamics, influence and inspire senior leaders, and adapt operations in response to changing business needs and system requirements.
  • Lead and develop the Master Data Management team and foster collaboration with cross-functional data domain leads and stakeholders, including senior leadership, Digital Technology, and segment organizations.
  • Develop and deliver clear communications that set expectations, drive senior leadership engagement, and support effective problem solving, requirements gathering, and issue resolution.
  • Establish and maintain effective operating mechanisms, KPIs, and support structures to empower teams, facilitate escalation, and enable efficient management engagement.
  • Build and sustain productive partnerships with Digital Technology, ARC AI Foundry, and third-party vendors, ensuring accountability for execution and alignment with GEV Technology, Data, AI, and MDM objectives.
  • Curate and manage knowledge systems to support business continuity and foster organizational flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Extensive operational leadership in Data Solution for Enabling Functions (e.g. Finance, Digital Technology, Legal), Operational Excellence (e.g. Commercial Operations, Lean).
  • A record of driving large-scale cross-functional projects to successful outcomes.
  • Data Management experience and expertise
  • Expertise in SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Master Data Management Software
  • In-house experience for fortune 500 company
  • Significant years of people leadership experience

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver with focus, prioritize and perform in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly
  • Adaptable/flexible: open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or ability to work in ambiguous situations

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $220,000 and $280,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
