Functional Execution Leader
Job Description Summary
Support the Program Operations Leader for the BWRX-300 in coordinating and overseeing the successful execution of the multiple projects in the BWRX-300 program. This role will bridge across Product Management, Engineering, Project Delivery, Supply Chain Development, and Sourcing to manage cross functional efforts required to ensure the successful launch of the BWRX-300 platform.
Effectiveness in the role depends on understanding of program development, costs, and risks, as well as cross-functional leadership skills to drive vital focus and accountability for the things that matter most to the BWRX-300 program success.
This position is based at our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. Must be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided) if not already local.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Support cross-functional program execution, including engineering development and individual project delivery
- Work to improve the processes, KPIs, and communication rhythms that a complex fast-paced program like the BWRX-300 requires.
- Serve as the interface for construction/AE partners, and as the customer interface at mid-executive level
- Conduct project risk analysis and consolidate project risk registers
- Ensure performance against all financial metrics
- Serve as the interface for Construction/AE (Project Setup / Oversight / etc.) - For each project having accountability
- Oversee the estimates for projects (gate reviews, etc)
- Promotes the implementation of project plans and project procedures across the larger project team
- Recommend and implement improvements in project management processes and procedures
- Lead the deployment of project infrastructure and project tools
- Support coordination of all activities related to the project; monitor and control progress on project deliverables
- Ensure that all project operations are carried out in accordance with the applicable procedures and any applicable customer and statutory requirements
- Coordinate & chair regular project meetings with customer teams, internal team, and/or supplier teams; prepares supporting materials for such project meetings
- Escalate issues to the Operations leader when required
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience
- At least 10 years of experience in Nuclear programs or operations
- At least 10 years of project management experience on large power EPC projects (design, construction, commissioning)

- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally to GE Vernova and customer locations.

The base pay range for this position is $170,000-240,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 10/10/2025.
