Job Description Summary

The Customer Experience/Event Coordinator will demonstrate the leadership, professionalism and initiative to ensure our customer and industry engagements are conducted at the highest of industry standards. In this role you will partner with business leadership and cross-functional teams to plan and execute external industry facing events, support marketing initiatives, and coordinate on-site customer meetings and tours.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution

  • Manage the business Event Calendar and stay informed on upcoming event opportunities for participation. Assist with the approval of conference attendee(s).
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate customer events including conferences, seminars, workshops, and hospitality events.
  • Manage event logistics such as venue selection, catering, AV needs, travel/shipping arrangements, vendor relations, and budget tracking.
  • Ensure all events align with company goals related to customer satisfaction, energy education, and brand representation.
  • Develop event agendas, timelines, and communication plans to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee event setup, on-site management, and post-event follow up activities.
  • Track event metrics, RSVP management, and customer engagement to evaluate success and recommend improvements.

Customer Meeting Support

  • Manage Customer Experience tour area of at the GVH HQ and communicate with facilities/internal groups to ensure no overlaps or conflicts in customer visits.
  • Prepare meeting materials, assist with presentation development, and agendas for in-person customer visits.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling, conference room setup, hospitality needs, and visitor services.
  • Greet customers upon arrival and serve as first-point-of contact for any hospitality needs to ensure positive and consistent customer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure meeting objectives are clearly defined and achieved.
  • Support and coordinate site tours and assist with preparation of tour guides to tailor visits and agendas to customer audience.

Marketing Support

  • Support the marketing team with the creation, editing, and distribution of marketing materials such as presentations, campaigns, promotional assets, etc.
  • Maintain and advocate brand consistency across all customer-facing materials and communications.
  • Assist with content creation as needed.
  • Champion the ordering, inventory, and distribution of promotional items and branded materials.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 3+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality, customer service, or a similar customer-facing role

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $85,300.00 and $142,100.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
