Engineering Sales and Proposal
Job Description Summary
The engineer will prepare technical and commercial proposals for the Services (SER) division, supporting GSI's main business units. The role involves managing a broad service scope, including maintenance, modernizations, retrofits, and spare parts for both new and existing equipment. Responsibilities also encompass assembly, commissioning, inspections, and long-term service agreements (LTSA) for GE's installed base. The position provides essential materials, consulting, and asset management software solutions to internal and external customers.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Adhere to GE Vernova's policies and approval processes for all service proposals.
- Coordinate with the SER engineering team to create specifications and purchase requests for internal and external sub-suppliers, subsequently consolidating costs to prepare and present final offers to bid managers, front sales teams, and customers.
- Initiate the pricing process for items and services using internal pricing tools, incorporating all necessary costs to determine the final bid and sales price.
- Manage the preparation and approval of official Grid Solutions cost documentation, supporting bid managers in technical project reviews (execution review), DD2 commercial reviews, and the full process from booking and order registration through to the final handover to the operations team.

Required Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrotechnical Engineering; candidates with other backgrounds must hold a technical degree (curso técnico) in Electrotechnics or an Associate degree (tecnólogo) in Electrical Engineering.
- Previous experience in preparing commercial proposals.
- Advanced English (writing, listening, and speaking); Spanish proficiency is considered an added plus.
- Mandatory proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat).
- Desirable knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
- Availability to work from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Possibility of a hybrid work model (2 days on-site and 3 days home office).
