Processus allant du concept à l'exploitation en passant par la production.
Responsable de la qualité de son travail. Assujetti à la supervision directe des opérations, aux instructions de travail prescrites et à une vérification système. Exécute ses tâches dans un cadre opérationnel bien défini. Il y dispose généralement d'une séquence détaillée des tâches opérationnelles standard à suivre pour obtenir le résultat final escompté.

Job Description

    • Support the Business Verticals in creating and reviewing (in conjunction with the leadership team) systems solutions as part of the OTR process, ensuring that solutions are technically fit for purpose and that technical risk is understood and managed with contingencies identified.
    • Perform Electrical System Design - Equipment Sizing Calculations ( Transformer Sizing, Cable Sizing, UPS/Battery Sizing, Load List Preparation)
    • Preparation of Overall Single Line Diagrams, Protection Single Line Diagrams
    • Perform Layout Engineering - Equipment Layout, Cable Routing Layout, Earthing Layout etc.
    • Protection Relay Co-ordination and setting parameters using Electrical Software
    • Basic and Detailed engineering for Power Quality equipment including its transformer, Switchgear, cabling.
    • Analyse customer's contract, prepare specifications to vendors and internal stake holders.
    • Prepare technical documentation as per contractual requirements, vendor documentation review.
    • Identify technical risks and put in place the mitigation plan.
    • Review solutions developed and identify opportunities for improvement of process, system, or equipment.
    • Foster relationship with other GE business entities to maximize the benefits of Synergy
    • Liaise with Platform Engineering, Technology and Value Engineering, and Supply Chain as appropriate to support the project and the business.
    • Liaise with other GE businesses, platform verticals, supply chain, sub-contractors and suppliers as appropriate to support the project and the business.
    • Drive lean mind set to provide optimum technical solutions for the projects.
    • Ensure strict compliance with all company and customer EHS policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from reputed College/University
    • Knowledge in system design using ETAP, MATLAB, PLECS and PSCAD.
    • Minimum of 8 years' experience in Project Engineering / Electrical System Engineering
    • Electrical system engineering experience in Industry / Marine / O&G / Power sectors in engineering design of systems based on projects involving Transformers, Switchgears, Cables, E-houses, Power Quality, MV Motors, Hazardous Area Equipment Classification . It is also necessary to have analytical and innovative approach in problem solving
    • Ability to adapt and multi-task with project/application engineers.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
    • Power quality simulation / power system design experience with MATLAB/PSCAD
