Job Description Summary

As part of the Lifecycle Engineering team, this position will provide both combustion and hot gas path engineering support to our service centers within the Asia region reporting to the AMRT (Advanced Manufacturing and Repair Technology) Asia Engineering Leader. This role is also responsible for working collaboratively with: AMRT Lean Leader, RDC Special Process Team, RVS Leadership, Gas Turbine Engineering, Product Line and Customer Service Engineering.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Engineering support of repair and inspection technologies, process qualification, industrialization. Related program deliverables to repair facilities for updated processes.
  • Provide technical support for the resolution of Repair Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to ensure high-quality repair outputs.
  • Maintain and manage service center repair qualifications (Non-New Product Introduction).
  • Support Kaizen (continuous improvement) activities within the service centers.
  • Participate in and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations to address quality and process issues.
  • Maintain Repair Engineering Instructions (REIs) and ensure timely updates to documentation.
  • Deliver general engineering support to maintain operational excellence in global service centers.
  • Collaborate with AMRT development teams in Greenville, Warsaw, and Singapore to support deployment of new repair technologies and implement upgrade modifications for gas turbine components.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned with AMRT engineers globally to drive consistency and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires basic experience in the Engineering/Technology & Repair Development. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Experience with robotics and vision learning systems.
