Electrical Project Engineer - MS3000
Job Description Summary
Responsible for the Electrical Specifications & Design, Drawings for Customer approvals, etc. of MS3000, based on customer specifications for Transformer Monitoring System equipment (TMS) and related products.
You will work closely with the project management group to ensure the timely execution of the project to the required standards (country specific), the equipment manufacturing and assembly group to ensure the quality and completeness of the as built system, and the test team to ensure the system as a whole meets the performance requirements as documented.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ownership for the Electrical Design & preparation of Drawings based on Customer Specifications for Transformer Monitoring Systems (TMS).
- Knowledge on Power system ,Transformer ,CT ,VT, PLC ,Circuit Breaker , Sensors .
- Creation of system Architecture ,General Arrangement, Circuit Diagrams, Bill of Materials, Schematic Diagrams, Wiring Schedule, Diagrams, etc. in line with System Architecture and Functionality required by Customer.
- Responsible for preparation of As Manufactured Drawings based on Mark-up Drawings received after FAT
- Responsible for preparation of As Built Drawings based on Mark-up Drawings received after Commissioning
- Accurate Documentation and Storage of Project Specific Documents / Drawings.
- Work with L3 Technical Support Engineer and Customer to resolve any issues.
- Work with R&D for development of new Features required by Customers.
- Ensure adherence to project deadlines as assigned by project manager.
- Completion of all assigned Tasks within the agreed Timeframe.
- Support resolution of System Test issues.
- Support in the further development of processes (process optimization) and the design tools employed with the aim of establishing uniform, rational project execution
- Follow Best Practices of each Region.
- Support continuous improvement activities with the aim of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of project execution.
- Support root cause analysis activities with regards to product or performance issues.
- Ensure all designs meet the required standards.
- Exposure on control and protection & SCADA is an added advantage .
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Similar from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Cubicle Design role, preferably in transformer monitoring or Industrial Applications or similar.

- Working experience on below Tools:
- EBase (Engineering Base)
- AutoCAD
- Visio
- Working experience for Electrical Enclosure / Cubicle Design
- Experience in Transformer Monitoring equipment (TMS) design.
- Experience of configuration languages used in automation systems (PLC's)
- Engineering management, problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong cultural awareness and international experience
- Positive attitude towards customers, peers and managers
- Excellent team working skills
