Leading the transformer control cubicle drawings of standard/special power transformers based on customer's specification and to prepare designs, calculations, drawings and bill of materials for procurement, quality, test and manufacturing functions.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Preparing control cubicle drawings by using necessary tools
  • Following up the control cubicle ordering process from beginning to the delivery of internal customers
  • Controlling the control cubicle wiring design drawings as per customer comments and requirements by taking into account international rules and national standards, while relying on material specifications (technical understandings, costs, procurement loop), and manufacturing capabilities
  • Having knowledge on recent and widely used Industrial Communication Protocols
  • Understanding national and international design standards and necessary design tools
  • Ensuring components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards
  • Analyzing and respond to customer complaints in a coordination with lead engineers and relevant leaders
  • Participate to technical customers meetings when needed and support engineering team to provide solutions to the customers
  • Attend engineering & production reviews to produce error free designs & reliable products, to reduce the cost of non-quality and to insure adequate performance of the unit
  • Following non-conformance reports and taking necessary preventive actions.
  • Aware of the company and local EHS policies, rules and standards
  • Performing the preventive/corrective actions in collaboration with EHS team to avoid the accidents, incidents and environmental damages

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electric or Electric & Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering departments
  • Minimum 1 years' experience in design area
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English
  • Willing to work at Gebze plant at least 4 days per week
  • Ability to live in Istanbul & Kocaeli

Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge of communication protocols, including Ethernet-based protocols, fieldbus protocols (e.g., MODBUS), and sector-specific protocols (e.g., DNP3, IEC 61850), as well as PLC systems, is a strong asset
  • Experience with EPLAN, AutoCAD, or similar control panel design tools is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address customer-driven technical challenges
  • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals
  • Ability to prepare clear technical documentation, analysis, and conclusion reports
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure within complex organizational structures
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Process-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Demonstrates open, honest, and effective communication
  • Quality-driven with a strong attention to detail
  • High level of ownership, perseverance, and commitment to delivering results
