Early Career Trainee - Project Engineer

This program is designed for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are eager to gain practical experience in customer project engineering. The trainee will support high-voltage GIS substation and synchronous condenser projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia while developing technical, coordination, and project execution skills.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities and deliverables in line with project requirements, technical specifications, applicable standards, and safety expectations.

• Assist with layouts, schematics, technical documents, bills of quantities, customer submissions, and follow-up of open engineering actions.

• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support coordination with customers, suppliers, site teams, and project stakeholders.

• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, clarification sessions, training, and site visits with guidance from experienced engineers.

• Contribute to quality, EHS awareness, Lean, and continuous improvement activities by sharing observations, lessons learned, and improvement ideas.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Fresh graduate or early-career professional with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Interest in substations, power systems, GIS, rotating machines, power plants, FACTS, or related infrastructure projects.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural project environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to live and work in Riyadh and travel within Saudi Arabia as needed.
• The legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restriction.
