Job Description Summary

As a Digital Manufacturing Process Specialist (m/f/d), you will play an active role in shaping the digital transformation of our manufacturing and production processes. In this position, you will analyze existing workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop innovative digital solutions to enhance efficiency, transparency, and process quality. You will leverage modern technologies such as data analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence to improve manual processes, reduce sources of error, and facilitate access to relevant information and data.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Analyze, optimize, and digitize manufacturing and production processe
  • Conduct process analyses using established methodologies such as Lean Management and Six Sigma
  • Derive and implement suitable optimization measures for the sustainable improvement of processes
  • Collaborate closely with Production, IT, and external partners
  • Support, further develop, and optimize digital tools and systems
  • Assist in the integration and use of MES and ERP systems, particularly Oracle
  • Use data analytics tools to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to the further development of Lean Manufacturing, process management, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training or a degree with a focus on IT or a related field
  • Professional experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Good programming skills in VBA
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience working with MES systems, ERP systems, and data analytics tools
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • High level of organizational skills and resilience
  • Fluency in German and good written and spoken English skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with digital technologies and tools in the context of Industry 4.0
  • Basic understanding of automation, data structures, and digital process landscapes
  • Interest in innovative technologies, particularly in the field of AI-supported process optimization

Wesentliche Aufgaben

  • Analyse, Optimierung und Digitalisierung von Fertigungs- und Produktionsprozessen
  • Durchführung von Prozessanalysen mithilfe etablierter Methoden wie Lean Management und Six Sigma
  • Ableitung und Umsetzung geeigneter Optimierungsmaßnahmen zur nachhaltigen Verbesserung von Prozessen
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Produktion, IT und externen Partnern
  • Betreuung, Weiterentwicklung und Optimierung digitaler Tools und Systeme

Qualifikationen

  • Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung oder Studium mit Schwerpunkt IT oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet
  • Berufserfahrung in einem Fertigungs- oder Produktionsumfeld
  • Gute Programmierkenntnisse in VBA
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in MS Office
  • Erfahrung im Umgang mit MES-Systemen, ERP-Systemen und Data-Analytics-Tools
  • Ausgeprägte Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
  • Hohes Maß an Organisationsfähigkeit und Belastbarkeit
  • Fließende Deutschkenntnisse sowie gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
