This is an exciting, technical role, with an emphasis on skilled enterprise software delivery.
Essential Responsibilities
We are looking for a Delivery Manager to join our Services team in North America. In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the project Software Delivery, with a focus on technical delivery and execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deploying enterprise software.
Working within a highly skilled team to manage and execute software deployment, software configuration, and operational testing. - Identifying and quickly resolving software and related IT issues within a deployment project
- Optimizing the deployment process, working with the DevOps teams
- Managing and coordinating effective software delivery
Network & Links
- Internal: Operations, Product Development, Tendering and Maintenance & Support
- External: Customers, Partners
- The Delivery Manager owns the project's Delivery Model and is the Technical Leader on the Project
- Performing and managing the deployment of interacting complex enterprise software and software dependencies.
It would be highly desirable (but not necessary) to have some experience with:
- Wide Area Monitoring Systems (WAMS) or
- Energy Management Systems (EMS) or
- Distribution Management Systems (DMS) or other e-terra or Power On products
- End-to-end responsibility on the Software Delivery part of projects to meet the schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructures (e.g. High-Performance Storage Systems, or IT Networks, or OS/VM environments)
- Project Execution control: Building effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity tracking to update Project Manager on progress
- Share responsibility with the Project Manager (PM), through close coordination, for scope management (change requests assessment), risk management, and problem management
- Trigger and validate engineering Gate Reviews (Solution, Factory Testing Readiness, Site Acceptance Readiness)
In collaboration with Methods & Tools
- Implement software delivery performance measurement indicators
- Drive excellence in execution through continuous improvement and change management to implement competitiveness improvement initiatives (costs base reduction, lead time reduction, productivity improvement, quality improvement...)
In collaboration with Tendering
- Assist tendering with the validation of the delivery model and estimations in coordination with the Regional Operations team and the Global Workforce Manager.
- Validate the Scope review at Tendering stage in coordination with the Solution Design team
In collaboration with Maintenance & Support
- Ensure a smooth transfer to maintenance of ending projects through coordinated knowledge transfer.
Customer Management
- Delivery Manager may be requested by the Project Manager, who owns the Customer relationship, to contribute to Customer management activities
- Comply and contribute to elaboration of relevant Quality Procedures, work instructions, and Processes in Quality Management System
- Report or resolve any process non-conformances in a timely manner
Health and Safety
- Demonstrate EHS leadership and ensure Zero Deviation Plan is implemented in their area of responsibility
- Sets the example by demonstrating the proper acts and actively observes work conditions.
- Actively participates in defining corrective actions when work is unsafe or when an uncontrolled risk is observed.
- Routinely observes routines and behaviors of others and provides immediate feedback regarding unsafe behavior and celebrates achievements or safe behaviors.
- Actively and routinely promotes the identification of hazards and near misses
- Ensure that all staff have done their mandatory EHS training
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven years of experience in Services).
Ideal subjects: Computer Science, IT Networking, Software Development - Minimum 3 years of experience in Services - Software Commissioning.
Desired Characteristics
- 5 years of experience in software delivery organization, with operation (project delivery) background
- Strong background in integration aspects related to computer systems
- Experience of Kubernetes and microservice architecture
- Industry knowledge in the field of operation and multi sites project organizations
- Process and methodology oriented
- Ability to remotely drive people towards a common goal
- Highly collaborative and able to work across the organization to accomplish common goals
- Driving change

Relocation Assistance Provided: No
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $104,000.00 and $156,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
