What impact you'll make

As a member of the Greenville Hot Gas Path team, you will lead the development and execution of the thermal spray coating manufacturing strategy for the Center of Excellence (COE). This role includes coaching and mentoring COE manufacturing engineers, driving technology and process development initiatives, owning the continuous improvement operating rhythm, and partnering closely with the plant industrialization team to successfully plan and execute capital expansion and ramp-up efforts.

Job Description

What you'll do

  • Coach and mentor thermal spray and post coat manufacturing engineers.
  • Responsible for OEE and continuous improvement for COE
  • Develop and execute strategy to meet customer demand
  • Maintain project deck to grow coating output through OEE improvement and capex deployment
  • Partner with industrialization and lean teams to execute volume ramp actions
  • Lead complex problem solving to address safety, quality, or delivery challenges

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree OR Non-Degree with 5+ years of experience in Thermal Spray operations including process development.
  • Demonstrated experience with process improvement and applying lean to manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching engineering/technical resources to improve processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with thermal spray processes.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future
  • This position is 100% onsite at the GE Vernova Greenville, SC Garlington road location
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment

Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $104,600.00 and $174,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
