Job Summary

The successful candidate will be part of the requisition engineering team, focusing on customer project execution. They will predominantly work on modifications and enhancements to the standard products to meet customer requirements.

The job location is at the GE Vernova Monitoring & Diagnostic headquarters, Lisburn, NI.

Below is a summary of the day-to-day tasks.

• Assemble and test subassemblies and systems to agreed specifications.
• Participate in project calls to provide progress updates or seek clarifications.
• Look for ways to improve assembly and test techniques.
• Record all necessary information and ensure it is filed in the relevant project folder.
• Report any defects or suggested improvements to the engineer working on the project.
• Provide occasional support for production and customer related issues.
• Keep workshop and engineering stores area in good condition.
• Complete material transactions for materials to and from stores as required.

Essential Requirements

• Electrical/Electronic assembly and test experience.
• Technical training to HND or above, or similar experience.
• Proven experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to ready and interpret drawings and bills of material.
• Strong communication skills with ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements:

• CAD experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with PC business applications e.g. Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
