Job Description Summary

Primarily responsible for providing Operation related support to the region O&M contracts, to ensure excellence during the Mobilization, Execution and Demobilization phases of the contracts in the region.
The Operations Support Leader will actively coordinate with the Operation Support Leaders of the other regions to maintain the standard established in the O&M playbooks.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Improve the Operations and reliability of the O&M plants for the region
  • Maintain the Operations Programs, including processes and tools, that ensures highest plant operational performance in the most safe, reliable, economical, and environmentally safe manner. Interface and coordinate with the Plant Managers and Operation Managers in the region
  • Support the measured KPI's for the effectiveness of the Operations Program on the power stations for the region.
  • Support the Power Plants in the region on the adoption of new tools and technologies into the Operations Program to drive productivity and/or operational performance on the power stations.
  • Support the development of digital solutions, define and lead validation plans and pilot implementation in close cooperation with the digital teams.
  • Coordinate with other GEV Power elements (Engineering teams, Digital, Commercial and O&M plants) to ensure best solutions for best performance on the Power Stations.
  • Support the Mobilization Programs for new contracts in the region, including processes and tools, that ensures efficient O&M contract mobilizations to achieve operation readiness at COD.
  • Provide support, advice and guidance to Plant Managers and other persons responsible for mobilization including to Regional O&M Service Directors on projects in mobilization. Support the region sites to accomplish the Lean Strategy for the O&M business
  • Support the region business growth under the request of the Region O&M Support Leader
  • Perform additional duties as required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations/project management/product management, including technical, financial, and contractual
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Power Plant Operation and Maintenance
  • Knowledge of GE Mark V, VI, VIe control systems for troubleshooting plant operational processes would be an advantage.
  • Fluent in English and local (region) language
