Aero Repairs and Exchanges Project Manager-1
Job Description Summary
The Aero Repairs and Exchanges Project Manager is responsible for Aero shop repairs, module exchanges, and exchange/spare engines. The primary responsibilities are on time project delivery and profitability. This role directly interacts with Regional Sales and the Aero Alliance. Process ownership is from handoff from the Aero Regional team to the delivery and billing of the customer engine or exchange/spare. This role will concurrently manage several repairs and exchanges and manage key strategic customers and lead critical process change across the Aero business. Lastly, this role will interact with the Aero Business Line leadership including Finance, Sales, Productivity, and Quality.

- Own key strategic customers during shop repair visits
- Develop and lead business changes
- Mentor other team members
- Ensuring at Handoff from Regional Sales a clear understanding of as sold scope, budget, shipping and billing requirements
- Leading all interactions and decisions with the Aero Alliance Risk Identification and Mitigation to schedule and budget
- Manage Shipping process
- Ensure costing validation and inputs to the billing process
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in a technical or business degree and a minimum of 5 years experience with Aeroderivative repairs and exchanges or equivalent.
- Associate's degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in a technical or business degree and a minimum of 10 years experience with Aeroderivative repairs and exchanges or equivalent.
Eligibility Requirements
- Ability and willingness to travel (~10%)

- Skilled at leading and influencing cross functional team members in a matrix organization.
- Skilled Communicator; professional and tactful in oral and written communications with multiple GE functions/levels and with the Customer; applies good judgment on frequency and detail of communication.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to set realistic objectives, accurately appraise situations, detect risks and issues, and collaborate with GE internal teams and customer to find win-win solutions.
- Embraces and demonstrates sensitivity to culture of customer and internal team members.
- Experience interpreting or applying Contract terms & conditions and binding agreements.
- Understanding of GE financial processes, revenue recognition, costs, margin, and quarterly forecasting.
- Direct customer-facing experience.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $119,600.00 and $199,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
