Job Description Summary

The Aero Industrialization & Strategic Initiatives Leader will focus on developing a comprehensive operational framework and execution strategy, with close partnership with Gas Power Supply Chain, to incubate, launch and deliver on the Aeroderivative Gas Turbine industrialization and Level 5 repair strategies to support our customers. This leader will partner with Aero Services Business line, Product management, Engineering, and Aero Alliance Joint Venture (AAJV) to develop a portfolio of industrialization and repair solutions. This is a highly visible and challenging executive leadership role, requiring close coordination within Gas Power and business-alignment with all external parties of the SARSTDA (Second Amended and Restated Supply and Technology Development Agreement) to deliver on customer outcomes.

The Aero Industrialization and Strategic Initiatives Leader will work across the Gas Power matrix to champion and incubate additional Aero Power Strategic initiative (eg LMS Packaging relaunch) to ensure that the strategic intent is fully translated into executable action plans and will represent the Aero Business Line at each functions / partner toll gate process.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Aero Services Business line, Product management, Engineering and Supply chain to define the Gas turbine industrialization strategy and execution plan, building a strong operating rhythm and clear outcomes leveraging Lean methodologies
  • Oversee and ensure the operational outcomes of the AAJV level 5 Repair strategy
  • Own the GE Vernova relationship with the AAJV and GE Aerospace, including administration of the SARSTDA.
  • Accountable for the industrialization outcomes for the customer and the business line. Ensures KPIs (Strategic, Financial, Operating) are in place and driven to target; Drives internal delivery and responsibilities across the organization.
  • Provide key output data, metrics and presentations for reporting, operations reviews and business communications.
  • Drive strategic alignment across Aero and all parties of the SARSTDA to operationalize the industrialization solutions portfolio.
  • Anticipates, plans, executes, and measures operational and business risk mitigation.
  • Works closely with the SARSTDA governance committee to resolve contractual disputes. Incubates select Aero strategic initiatives that require cross functional prioritization across Gas Power, Baker Hughes, Aero Alliance and GE-Aerospace.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant field/discipline, or equivalent knowledge/experience.
  • Significant experience (knowledge level equivalent to 8+ years of experience), across at least two of the domain areas: Supply chain, Product Management, Engineering or Business management, with a track record of delivering business outcomes.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Demonstrated ability to challenge the status-quo and adept at change management
  • Operations experience with a proven track record of results using Lean methodologies.
  • Data-driven but decisive despite ambiguity
  • Experienced in Aerospace, Aeroderivative or industrial products
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with the capacity to influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal; high Say-Do ratio.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as external organizations

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $233,600 and $350,400. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
