Job Description Summary

The Medium-Term Planner will be responsible to implement and maintain shop scheduling, taking into account different inputs coming from shop master scheduling, shop capacity, supply chain, and customer needs ensuring the execution of the plan, escalating roadblocks and reporting KPIs/RCAs to Material & Planning team.
She/He will report to Avenza Shop Master Scheduler, within the Material & Planning team, in the Avenza Shop organization. The role will be based on-site for 100% of the time

Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Cooperate to define shop production schedule in accordance with Schedule Attainment process (SA) for exits and ensuring feasibility in terms of shop capacity.
  • Involvement in DMS tier 2 as focal point for delivery and lead planning meetings within shop and supply chain to review execution and SA plans.
  • Develop and maintain Weekly plan to schedule Gate 3 and Accumulation activities, including an Exit Milestone Plan to achieve SA std work
  • Coordinate with shop internal teams (Operation, Material mgmt., Solutioning, Customer mgmt.) to achieve the shop plan and SA of frozen jobs.
  • Identify and solution possible capacity bottlenecks for shop production schedule to meet SA partnering with shop and JV functions.
  • Highlights criticalities during the production and identify opportunities to continuously improve engines delivery dates

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) or equivalent knowledge or work experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficient skills in PC, Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
  • Oracle or other ERP system experience
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Be a Solution-oriented problem solver
