Job Description Summary
Job Description
Role Summary/Purpose
The Advanced Nuclear SMR Projects Executive will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the successful execution of the BWRX-300 program. In this role, the leader will bridge across the coalition that is Product Management, Engineering, Project Delivery, Supply Chain Development, and Sourcing to serve as the single overarching decider, and to manage the cross functional efforts required to ensure the successful launch of the BWRX-300 platform.
This program is new, complex, urgent, and somewhat undefined, with various stakeholders and partners. While the whole team is responsible for BWRX-300 success, the Advanced Nuclear SMR Projects Executive will have the authority to make tradeoff decisions, resource decisions, and ultimately execution decisions so we can move with the urgency and efficiency required. Effectiveness in the role depends on the deep understanding of program development, costs, and risks, as well as cross-functional leadership skills to drive vital focus and accountability for the things that matter most to the BWRX-300 program success. This position will report into the GEH Advanced Nuclear Business Line Leader, and work across the direct and indirect teams that are contributing to the BWRX-300.
