ADMS Solutions & Support Engineer
Job Description Summary
We are seeking a technical, client-focused Solutions Engineer - Electrification Software to join our Services/Support team. This role encompasses solution implementation, L2-L3 application support, and continuous service improvement. You will apply your understanding of emerging energy industry trends and their impact on utilities to support Electrification Software deployments across the full-service lifecycle, in alignment with ITIL service management practices.

As an Advanced Distribution Management Systems Solutions & Support Engineer, you will contribute to innovative delivery and support engagements with leading utility customers, operating in a team that provides advanced technical expertise across implementation, go-live, and steady-state operations. Your work will directly contribute to a stable, secure, and resilient energy grid.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of GridOS solutions, owning technical deliverables across multiple business cases throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage with utility customers to understand business and operational requirements and align Electrification Software solutions accordingly.
- Design, develop, and configure data models tailored for electrical network systems within relevant Electrification Software applications.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support for our solutions, handling incidents escalated from L1 support.
- Diagnose and resolve complex application, data, and integration issues in production and pre-production environments.
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to Problem Management, including identification of permanent fixes and preventive actions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency through rigorous testing, validation, and documentation.
- Monitor system behavior and performance, proactively identifying risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Support go-live readiness activities, hypercare periods, and post-implementation reviews.
- Stay informed of evolving electrical network technologies, Electrification Software capabilities, and ITIL best practices.

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, implementation services, and application support in an ITIL-aligned environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications at L2/L3 level.
- Solid understanding of database management systems, SQL, and spatial data concepts.
- Experience with REST APIs, Web Services/SOAP.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, including Git and CI/CD tools.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems, including system administration concepts to guide IT.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, share knowledge, and work collaboratively in critical infrastructure environments.
Nice-to-have qualifications
- ADMS systems experience (preferably Reliance Series 6).
- ITIL Foundation or higher certification, or equivalent working experience.
- Experience with FME (Feature Manipulation Engine), CIM data modeling, or similar data transformation tools.
- Familiarity with Git, Confluence, Jira, Ansible, Nexus, Spring, Maven, JSON, XML, MQ.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
