Job Description Summary
The 3rd Shift Technician is responsible for maintaining manufacturing capability, production continuity, and continuous improvement at the station and line level. You will ensure the technical integrity of the line by troubleshooting specialized equipment, optimizing production processes, and enforcing strict quality and documentation standards. Acting as the on-floor Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will resolve technical hurdles, minimize downtime, and guide operators on critical process requirements during off-shift hours.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Partner with engineers and operators to troubleshoot issues in real-time, proactively preventing line stoppages.
- Assist in dispositioning stator bars, manage data uploads (SPEC, Shape Check, VAB), and conduct rigorous documentation audits.
- Maintain and troubleshoot critical production equipment, including Shape Check systems, resistor towers, and material handling equipment.
- Authorize shipments through verifying completion status and ensure total quality compliance before releasing product for shipping.
- Serve as the primary floor support for MES systems and provide technical guidance on operations terminology, facility procedures, and equipment operation.
- Participate in and lead initiatives to optimize production processes and equipment reliability.
- Assist the non-metallics lab and industrialization team with specialized stator bar testing.

Requirements:
- Associate's degree in technical discipline (OR High School Diploma/GED + 5 years of relevant manufacturing experience).
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience in a technical manufacturing role.
- 100% Onsite Position
- Able to work 11pm-7am

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and educate line workers.
- Exceptional attention to detail regarding quality documentation and system data integrity.
