We are looking for a visionary Senior Medical Director to lead our health care delivery and clinical strategy and ensuring quality access to care with personalized experiences in the moments that matter the most.

What You'll Do

• Lead with Purpose: Direct physician-led case and utilization management across all lines of business.
• Innovate with Impact: Define and execute our medical and clinical strategy, introducing personalized care models and digital health innovations that put our customers first.
• Build and Govern: Develop forward-thinking clinical programs, governance frameworks, and policies that shape the future of global care.
• Collaborate Strategically: Partner across network development, product design, planning, and sales to drive enterprise-wide transformation.
• Review with Precision: Conduct clinical reviews for inpatient and outpatient services requiring prior authorization and medical necessity.
• Strengthen Partnerships: Cultivate and support relationships with key healthcare providers, telemedicine and assistance vendors, and regulatory agencies to enhance service delivery.
• Champion Global Health: Lead initiatives that improve the member experience by leveraging BCBS Global Solutions capabilities within diverse health systems in both developed and developing countries.
• Promote Thought Leadership: Identify and promote thought leadership in the international health care arena by engaging in industry forums, publishing white papers, and representing BCBS Global Solutions at global health conferences.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of post-residency clinical practice.
• US Board Certification.
• Expertise in multi-country health delivery systems and clinical governance.
• Proven experience with digitally delivered healthcare.
• Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and leadership.
