The Role
The Senior Product Manager - Professional Promotion (Head & Neck Oncology) will develop and implement brand strategies and execution plans for Genmab's first head and neck cancer asset, petosemtamab. This critical role will report to the Director of HCP Marketing Petosemtamab and will be expected to serve as a key operational partner across Professional Promotion, Omnichannel COE, Sales, Training, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Experience, and agency partners to help ensure aligned and seamless execution of customer engagement strategies and promotional initiatives.
The Senior Manager will support tactical orchestration, field activation, launch readiness coordination, and executional pull-through across personal and non-personal promotion channels while helping maintain strong alignment between brand strategy and customer engagement execution. Success in this role will require strong organizational and project management skills, as well as contributing to strategic and tactical brand activities. Overall, this individual will be an important contributor and coordinator on the brand team, driving strong alignment and partnership with cross-functional partners.
Success in this role will require strong technical skills, strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, a collaborative mindset, oncology/hematology (w/ recent launch) experience (highly preferred), and a proven record of accomplishment operating in an emerging/developing organization.
Work arrangement: This role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%-40% of a typical schedule. Employees may use this work schedule in increments of single days or multiple consecutive days, provided it does not exceed 40% within a 60-day period, and is approved by the hiring manager.
Responsibilities
- Support execution and integration of professional promotion initiatives aligned to brand strategic imperatives and launch objectives
- Coordinate cross-functional promotional planning and execution across marketing, omnichannel COE, training, sales, medical, market access, patient experience, and agency partners
- Support development and deployment of promotional materials and field engagement resources
- Help manage promotional review (MeRL), approval, and material development timelines in partnership with agency and cross-functional teams
- Support field activation planning, Sales meeting readiness, and communication coordination
- Gather and synthesize field feedback and execution insights to help optimize customer engagement strategies and tactical effectiveness
- Partner with sales leadership and training teams to support strong promotional pull-through and customer engagement readiness
- Support congress planning and promotional integration activities
- Help monitor execution milestones, tactical deliverables, and cross-functional dependencies to ensure timely and effective implementation
- Support coordination of customer journey execution across personal and non-personal engagement channels
- Ensure operational alignment across promotional initiatives, customer engagement priorities, and launch execution plans
- Maintain strong collaboration across internal stakeholders to identify and proactively address executional risks and gaps
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and all key deliverables aligned to brand goals
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, 5+ years with an advanced degree, 3+ years with a PhD or equivalent, is required. US in-line marketing experience and/or sales experience.
- Oncology marketing experience highly preferred.
- Prior accelerated approval experience preferred.
- Strategic and creative mindset. Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Proven track record of brand performance, including developing strategies and tactics with measurable impact.
- Track record of driving strong sales force engagement and execution.
- Technology savvy skillset and innovative mindset are critical to success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences, including management teams.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional team members and stakeholders. "One team" mentality.
- Experience working in the highly complex, dynamic environment of an emerging organization preferred. Self-starter with strong initiative, is proactive and solution-oriented, and can function autonomously.
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving, fast-paced work environment.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:
$146,480.00 - $219,720.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
