The Role

The Senior Manager, Commercialization Operations & Business Effectiveness (CO&BE) is a key integrator of all Commercialization activities for a given brand/asset, with a focus on enabling coordinated execution and scalability across launches. The Senior Manager is accountable for Commercialization Project leadership and will work closely with cross functional colleagues to drive innovation and operational excellence within the critical business areas of: Launch Readiness, Executive Leadership Support, Strategic & Tactical Planning, Governance, and Continuous Improvement.

Work arrangement: This role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%-40% of a typical schedule. Employees may use this work schedule in increments of single days or multiple consecutive days, provided it does not exceed 40% within a 60-day period, and is approved by the hiring manager.

This role reports directly to the Director, CO&BE.

Responsibilities

  • Manages Commercialization Projects as a core member of the Launch Team, enabling scalable launch execution and market readiness.
  • In partnership with the Director, coordinates development and execution of cross-functional readiness plans.
  • Coordinates day-to-day activities across cross-functional teams (e.g., Market Access, Medical, Commercial, Regulatory) to ensure aligned execution toward shared outcomes.
  • Supports market-level launch readiness, coordinating key components to enable successful launch readiness.
  • Coordinates launch readiness activities, governance processes, and continuous improvement efforts, supporting delivery of key project outputs and effectively leveraging cross-functional teams and vendor partnerships.
  • Responsible for maintaining integrated project plans, proactively tracking risks, dependencies, and trade-offs across markets to support successful delivery.
  • Partners with stakeholders to align timelines and reporting with global milestones and market-specific requirements (e.g., regulatory, access, and launch sequencing), proactively identifying risks and interdependencies.
  • Supports development of clear project plans and materials, ensuring appropriate visibility across global, regional, and local stakeholders to enable alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Coordinates clear, consistent communication across global, regional, and local stakeholders, tailoring messaging to different levels of the organization.
  • Supports preparation of materials and inputs for governance forums, ensuring decisions are informed by clear insights, trade-offs, and cross-functional perspectives.
  • Maintains project information, documentation, and team communications to ensure timely and accurate visibility of project status for governance bodies and key stakeholders.
  • Fosters and contributes to a high-performing team environment, supporting strong team dynamics and effective collaboration.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required plus 5 years' experience; MBA plus 3 years' experience or other related advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a project manager in a pharmaceutical/biotech company including process improvement or change initiatives.
  • Oncology/Hematology experience is required.
  • Experience in market approval and/or commercial launch phases is required.
  • Proven experience in oncology product launches, with strong understanding of market access dynamics, regulatory requirements, and cross-market launch sequencing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex, interdependent projects simultaneously, driving timelines, budgets, and proactively resolving cross-team issues, while maintaining alignment to long-term strategy.
  • Project leadership and strong organizational skills are required.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights, recommendations, and decision frameworks for stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, effectively driving alignment and results across global and market teams.
  • Experience preparing materials and insights for governance forums and supporting senior leadership decision-making.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$133,600.00 - $200,400.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
