Job Title: Principal Technology Lead, SAP App Dev, Enabling Functions

Job Location: Plainsboro, New Jersey

Job Description: Genmab seeks a Principal Technology Lead, SAP App Dev, Enabling Functions in Plainsboro, NJ to oversee comprehensive SAP Application Development environments, ensuring effective solution design, architecture, and project execution. Lead strategic conversations with stakeholders and SAP functional resources to clearly define business requirements and translate into sophisticated technical solutions. Coordinate onshore and offshore SAP development teams, providing leadership in aligning technical initiatives with evolving business and operational goals. Ensure all SAP solutions are developed and maintained according to current SAP product roadmaps and best practices. Partner with external implementation providers and vendors to manage resources efficiently, guaranteeing availability of essential skillsets and capabilities. Lead SAP application lifecycle from design, development, implementation through to post-deployment support. Develop, implement, and oversee advanced SAP ABAP and Fiori/UI5 solution designs. Drive integration strategies utilizing SAP interfacing technologies including SAP CPI, ALE/IDocs, EDI, BAPIs, and other middleware tools. Ensure adoption and adherence to ASAP methodology and Agile practices across all project initiatives. Act as primary contact for SAP-related IT General Controls (ITGC) ensuring strict compliance with GxP and SOX regulations. Facilitate audit processes by liaising closely with internal and external auditors, producing detailed compliance documentation and reports. Oversee SAP AMS (Application Management Services), maintaining SLAs, reviewing periodic operational reporting, and adjusting resources to optimize service efficiency. Negotiate and draft comprehensive SAP software contracts ensuring budget adherence and coverage of required features. Manage all Change Control activities for routine, project-based, and agile delivery models. Conduct regular reviews of AMS timesheets, enhancement deliverables, and resource allocation. Serve as SAP solution architect for all new functionality integrations and enhancements across the enterprise landscape. Evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for SAP software, consulting services, and technology projects, actively participating in vendor demonstrations and final selection processes

The salary for this position is $189,592+ per year

Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Must possess 5 years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience with: (a) Leading diverse global SAP Development teams (onshore and offshore); (b) Aligning strategic technology initiatives with evolving organizational business processes; (c) Implementing SAP applications in strict accordance with SAP's defined product roadmaps; (d) Collaborating effectively with various implementation partners and vendors to secure essential resources and technical expertise; (d) Full lifecycle management of SAP application development (design, develop, implement, support); (e) Advanced solution architecture skills with SAP ABAP and Fiori/UI5; (f) Comprehensive expertise in integration technologies including SAP CPI, ALE/IDocs, EDI, and BAPIs; and (g) Deep familiarity with ASAP and Agile project methodologies. Experience may be gained concurrently. Position allows working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Domestic and international travel required up to 24% of the time.
