The role

You will have an important role ensuring compliant and efficient warehouse operations for the Genmab GMP facility site Ballerup The role owns end-to-end warehouse processes (inbound, storage, and outbound), ensures GMP/GDP and Genmab quality system compliance, maintains data integrity in ERP, and drives operational excellence and inspection readiness.

Scope

  • GMP-regulated Label & Pack warehouse operations and QC lab logistics interface
  • Inbound and outbound activities for packaging components, printed materials, intermediates, finished goods, and QC samples
  • Controlled storage areas (ambient / cold chain / other as applicable)
  • Warehouse process ownership including SOP governance, deviations/CAPA/change controls (warehouse-related), and operational KPIs
  • ERP transaction quality, master data relevance, and support to validated system changes

Responsibilities

Operational Excellence (Inbound / Storage / Outbound)

  • Plan and execute daily warehouse operations for receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure correct material status management (quarantine/released/rejected/returned) and segregation in line with GMP requirements.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts, reconciliations, and investigation of discrepancies; ensure timely corrective actions.

GMP/GDP Compliance & Inspection Readiness

  • Perform warehouse activities according to GMP/GDP, Genmab procedures
  • Own warehouse-related SOPs/WIs and ensure training, adherence, and periodic review.
  • Manage warehouse-related deviations, investigations, CAPAs, and change controls in collaboration with QA/QC and Operations.
  • Maintain audit/inspection readiness and support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and customer/partner audits.

Inbound Material Management (GMP-Regulated)

  • Perform the receipt and verification of incoming goods (materials/components/printed materials/finished goods/QC samples) including documentation checks and ERP transactions.
  • Escalate and resolve inbound issues (damage, temperature excursions, documentation gaps) with QA/QC and Supply Chain stakeholders.

Outbound Distribution & Shipping Compliance

  • Perform compliant preparation and execution of outbound shipments including batch/label verification where applicable, reconciliation, and documentation.
  • Ensure shipping meets handling requirements (e.g., cold chain, security, special labeling) and that all movements are fully traceable.
  • Manage returns, recalls, and destruction processes (as applicable) with robust documentation and QA oversight.

Controlled Storage & Facility Oversight

  • Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and segregation meet GMP expectations (5S where applicable).
  • Ensure warehouse equipment and monitoring systems are maintained/qualified per site requirements.

Systems, Data Integrity & Validation Support

  • Ensure accurate and timely ERP (SAP) and/or WMS transactions (receipts, transfers, picks, shipments, adjustments).
  • Support validated system changes impacting warehouse processes (UAT, training, procedural updates, and validation documentation inputs as required).

Key Stakeholders / Interfaces

Internal:

  • Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Label & Pack Operations/Manufacturing, Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Finance/Controlling, EHS, Logistics and distribution team

External:

  • Transportation providers, service vendors

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Life Sciences, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proven warehouse experience in a GMP-regulated pharma/biotech environment (Label & Pack strongly preferred) for more than 4 years
  • Strong understanding of GMP/GDP, documentation practices, and data integrity
  • Experience with ERP (SAP preferred) in validated environments
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; structured problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
