The Role

As Executive Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to the Vice President of CMC Product Development, Vice President of Global Quality and Vice President of QA GMP , enabling effective leadership through outstanding planning, coordination, communication, and operational support. You will report to the Vice President of CMC Product Development.

Working across our Technical Operations teams in Utrecht and Copenhagen, you will coordinate calendars, meetings, travel, and leadership activities in a dynamic international environment. You will play an important role in ensuring that leaders are well prepared, aligned, and able to focus on strategic priorities.

Beyond delivering high-quality executive support, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the CMC Product Development and Quality leadership teams by coordinating leadership activities, supporting communication, driving follow-up on key actions, and identifying opportunities to simplify administrative processes and improve ways of working.

Responsibilities

As Executive Assistant, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day executive support to the Vice President of CMC Product Development, the Vice President of Global Quality, and the Vice President of QA GMP.
  • Proactively manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments while balancing changing priorities.
  • Organize leadership meetings, workshops, town halls, onboarding activities, and other team events by coordinating logistics, preparing meeting materials, taking minutes where appropriate, and following up on agreed actions.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodation, transportation, visa support where applicable, and expense administration.
  • Support preparation of presentations, reports, correspondence, and other documents to enable leaders in their day-to-day activities.
  • Monitor action items and deadlines, helping leaders stay organized and ensuring timely follow-up on agreed actions.
  • Support a variety of administrative processes, including time registration follow-up, training coordination, reporting, and document management.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues across Technical Operations, Enabling Functions, and the Executive Assistant network.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify administrative processes and contribute to continuous improvements within the team.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you enjoy creating structure in a dynamic environment and staying one step ahead. You are proactive, highly organized, and thrive on enabling senior leaders to focus on strategic priorities. You build strong relationships, communicate effectively across functions and cultures, and exercise sound judgment when balancing competing demands.

You also bring:

  • Several years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a comparable administrative support role within a complex, international organisation.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate calendars, meetings, travel, and administrative activities accurately and efficiently.
  • The ability to anticipate needs, prioritize effectively, and work independently while knowing when to involve others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Experience preparing presentations, reports, meeting materials, and other business documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Concur, or similar platforms. Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, Genmab's primary language.

The proposed gross annual base salary range for this position, in the primary location, based on a full time schedule is:
EUR38.964,00---58.446,00

The final salary offer will depend on several factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
