The Role

Genmab is seeking an experienced and strategic finance professional to build and lead the revenue operations and GTN (Gross-to-Net) governance for our expanding European commercial operations. This is a hands-on role with a strong technical focus. Depending on the candidate's experience, the role may be hired at the Associate Director or Director level.

As the Director, FP&A - Revenue Operations Europe, you will be co-responsible for designing and implementing the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Revenue Management infrastructure across key European markets to support product launches, pricing and reimbursement models, commercial contracting, and revenue recognition. The role requires a deep, operational understanding of revenue processes and the ability to translate that knowledge into scalable systems and workflows.

You will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization including our SAP COE, Commercial Finance, Market Access, DD&AI, and Accounting & Reporting teams to ensure that Genmab's revenue processes are accurate, compliant, and strategically aligned with our commercial and financial objectives. As a technical expert, you will drive solutions and execution rather than lead a team.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that will serve as a critical bridge between Finance, Commercial, Market Access, Supply Chain, and Legal. You will ensure Genmab's OTC and Revenue capabilities are scalable, compliant, and aligned with our broader commercial strategy, with a strong emphasis on hands-on delivery and technical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the end-to-end OTC processes across European markets in alignment with Genmab's global standards and local requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Global Finance, DD&AI, and Supply Chain teams to design a robust infrastructure to support product distribution, invoicing, and collections.
  • Establish OTC policies and procedures and identify process optimization opportunities.

Gross-to-Net (GTN) and Revenue Analytics

  • Own the GTN forecasting and actuals process, including accruals for rebates, chargebacks, distribution fees, and patient access program discounts.
  • Develop and maintain GTN models by product, market, and channel to ensure accurate forecasting and alignment with FP&A, Accounting, and Commercial teams.
  • Partner with Technical Accounting to ensure proper recognition and documentation of GTN adjustments in accordance with IFRS 15.
  • Analyze trends and drivers of GTN performance and provide insights to leadership to optimize pricing, contracting, and market access decisions.
  • Collaborate with DD&AI to automate GTN reporting, improving accuracy and reducing manual adjustments.

Operational Execution & Performance

  • Act as the primary finance point of contact for Commercial Contracts, ensuring financial implications are fully assessed and contract terms are operationally executable.
  • Support the development and review of commercial contracts, including distributor and wholesaler agreements, managed access agreements, and government tenders.
  • Partner with our outsourced 3PLs to monitor OTC process performance, including order accuracy, invoicing timelines, dispute resolution, and collections.
  • Monitoring of SLAs and KPIs to drive increased 3PL and internal performance
  • Define key performance indicators and implement dashboards to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with Market Access and local affiliates to align on pricing, contracting, and reimbursement flows that impact OTC execution.
  • Resolve escalated issues across the OTC cycle in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
