The Role
The Associate Director, Patient Experience and Consumer Marketing
(Head & Neck Oncology) will lead patient engagement strategy and patient-centered support initiatives designed to address unmet needs, improve navigation and access, and strengthen the overall patient experience within head and neck cancer. They will partner closely with the internal Advocacy team and the Patient Services team to help ensure aligned, patient-centered education, support, and engagement strategies across the care continuum. This critical role will report to the Senior Director of the Petosemtamab Marketing team and will be expected to work closely within the US Marketing and cross-functional teams. Success in this role will require strategic thinking, close collaboration with the cross-functional support teams, and knowledge of the evolving HNSCC marketplace while realizing strategic and tactical synergies that accelerate brand growth.
Additionally, this role will require strong leadership skills, a collaborative mindset, oncology patient marketing experience (highly preferred), and a proven track record of accomplishment operating in an emerging/developing organization are key to this individual's success.
Work arrangement: This role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%-40% of a typical schedule. Employees may use this work schedule in increments of single days or multiple consecutive days, provided it does not exceed 40% within a 60-day period, and is approved by the hiring manager.

Responsibilities
- Shape key strategies, pull through prioritized tactics, and achieve the overall brand vision set by Genmab organizational leadership
- Lead development of the patient experience strategy aligned to brand strategic imperatives and launch objectives
- Identify unmet patient and caregiver needs and translate insights into actionable support initiatives and engagement strategies
- Partner closely with the internal Advocacy team to support engagement strategies with patient advocacy organizations and community stakeholders
- Partner closely with the Patient Services Marketing team to align patient support strategies, educational resources, and patient engagement initiatives
- Help shape patient support experiences across access, navigation, affordability, and survivorship touchpoints
- Support development of patient-focused educational resources and engagement initiatives across personal and non-personal channels
- Ensure patient and caregiver perspectives are incorporated into program design, resource development, and customer engagement strategies
- Partner with omnichannel COE to support patient engagement journeys and scalable digital support initiatives
- Monitor emerging trends, unmet needs, and advocacy landscape dynamics within head and neck cancer
- Collaborate with field leadership and cross-functional partners to improve awareness and utilization of patient support resources
- Develop resources for CNEs and patient focused programming
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and all key deliverables aligned to brand goals
- Optimize patient journeys by leveraging data, segmentation, and personalization strategies
Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
- 8+ years of professional, relevant experience required, including US or Global in-line patient and consumer marketing within regulated environments.
- Oncology/HNSCC marketing experience highly preferred. Accelerated approval experience is highly preferred.
- Strategic and creative mindset. Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Proven track record of brand performance, including developing strategies and tactics with measurable impact.
- Track record of driving strong cross-functional collaboration and achieving team-oriented goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for various audiences, including management teams.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional team members and stakeholders. "One team" mentality.
- Experience working in an emerging organization's highly complex, dynamic environment preferred. Self-starter with strong initiative, proactive and solutions-oriented, and can function autonomously.
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving, fast-paced work environment.
- Resourceful, decisive, and proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization.

- Ability to travel domestically
For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:
$176,400.00 - $264,600.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
