Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid on night shift. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

The Role

The Travel and Expense (T&E) Analyst - Bilingual (Portuguese/Spanish) is responsible processing day-to-day Travel and Expense multiple service channels which are received from various business units from different countries, be it employee and non-GM employee who need our support. This role requires strong proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish to support employees and manage cases. The analyst safeguards the integrity of the reimbursement process by identifying discrepancies, providing guidance, and supporting continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

Support and Communication

  • Provide guidance on expense submission and policy interpretation.
  • Communicate in Portuguese, Spanish, and English when resolving Travel and Expense queries.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.

Audit and Compliance

  • Review and audit employee expense reports for accuracy, policy compliance, and completeness.
  • Verify and interpret receipts in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
  • Identify non-compliant transactions and follow up with employees.
  • Ensure adherence to local regulations and global travel policies.

Case Management

  • Manage cases in accordance with SLAs for response and resolution.
  • Escalate cases when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of audit results and communications.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate reports on expense trends, exceptions, and recurring issues.
  • Identify patterns and recommend improvements to T&E procedures.
  • Support regional or global audit metrics and dashboards.

System and Process Management

  • Demonstrates strong working knowledge in using expense tools and related systems such as Concur, SAP, ServiceNow, and Workday.
  • Participate in system testing, UAT, and updates.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or finance roles
  • Strong proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Willingness to work hybrid on night shift

  • Experience working with a diverse and multi-cultural team
  • Experience working for a multinational organization and working with colleagues internationally are preferred
  • Knowledgeable in Artificial Intelligence-based service channels (chatbots, virtual assistants, automation tools) and CRM Tools
