The Role
We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead program execution of a portfolio of programs within GM's Infrastructure Platform Engineering team.
In this cross-functional and execution-oriented role, you will drive a portfolio of complex software engineering initiatives in support of Infrastructure Engineering from concept through delivery, partnering with technical, business, and executive teams. You will shape the roadmap, governance, and change management practices required to drive efficient, effective, and high-impact software engineering for each body of work in your portfolio.
What You'll Do

- Drive Planning & Coordination - Define scope, timelines, resources, and dependencies using tools like Jira, Align, and Confluence. Manage sequencing, risk mitigation, and cross-functional integration across engineering, product, and operations.
- Ensure Delivery Excellence - Monitor progress through dashboards and metrics, resolve roadblocks, and communicate status, risks, and impacts clearly and effectively. Incorporate CI/CD, SRE, and Dev Experience practices into program workflows.
- Champion Product & Engineering Quality - Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure complete requirements, robust roadmaps, and effective intake processes. Maintain integrity of the "3-in-the-box" model (Product, Program, Engineering).
- Connect & Integrate Across Teams - Identify synergies across programs, technologies, and teams. Align release cadences and coordinate with stakeholders (e.g., marketing, legal). Leverage reusable technology assets and cloud-native solutions.
- Promote Continuous Improvement - Optimize workflows, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and impact across infrastructure engineering teams. Drive adoption of best practices in change management and lifecycle governance.
- Communicate with Impact - Deliver compelling updates and presentations using storytelling and data to engage stakeholders at all levels. Use tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Power BI to visualize insights and progress.
- Apply Strategic Insight - Blend technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, Azure, and DevOps with business acumen and program management best practices to drive successful outcomes.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
