  • Maintain and evolve detailed product requirements for GM Energy residential products, including performance, safety, compliance, and customer experience requirements.
  • Translate customer, field, installer, and service feedback into prioritized requirements and backlog items.
  • Partner with engineering and program management to ensure on-time, on-cost, and on-quality delivery.
  • Lead certification strategies and execution for residential energy hardware (e.g., UL, CSA, Energy Star, NEC, grid-interconnection requirements).
  • Facilitate conversations with utilities for key technical integrations.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, standards evolution, and utility programs related to residential charging and storage.

  • Familiarity with EV charging standards (Examples: ISO 15118, SAE J1772/J3400, OCPP).
  • Knowledge of certification processes and regulatory compliance for electrical products.
  • Familiarity with utility programs, grid services, or managed charging concepts (V1G/V2G awareness a plus).
