The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst with 2+ years of experience transforming raw datasets into actionable insights through advanced Power BI, SQL, and DAX development. Skilled at building scalable dashboards, optimizing data models, and translating business requirements into impactful reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements.
  • Create complex DAX measures and time intelligence calculations for performance tracking.
  • Develop optimized data models using Power Query, relationships, and calculated tables.
  • Integrate Power BI with SQL databases, Azure Synapse, and other enterprise data sources.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization.
  • Perform trend, variance, and predictive analytics to support business strategy.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
  • Provide training and documentation for business users on Power BI solutions.

What You'll Do (Required Qualifications):

  • Data Visualization: Advanced Power BI dashboarding, KPI design, interactive drill-downs, storytelling with data
  • Data Modeling: Star/snowflake schema design, Power Query (M), relationships, calculated tables
  • DAX (Data Analysis Expressions): Complex measures, time intelligence functions, row context vs filter context mastery
  • Data Integration: Power BI Service, dataflows, DirectQuery vs Import optimization, scheduled refreshes
  • SQL & Databases: Writing queries, stored procedures, joins, CTEs, query performance tuning
  • ETL & Data Prep: Power Query, Python or R for preprocessing, data cleansing, handling unstructured data
  • Analytics & BI: Trend analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, segmentation, drill-through analytics
  • Integration: Various databases, SharePoint, Excel integration with Power BI
  • Business Acumen: Finance KPIs (revenue, margin, OPEX), operations metrics, customer insights, manufacturing analytics
