Hybrid: This position requires to work 3 days on site 2 days at home remote on a full-time basis
The Role:
Assess and evaluate financial performance of supported business unit with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts- Support creation of yearly financial objectives that align with the business partner's plan for growth and expansion- Prepare and may present monthly financial budgeting reports including monthly profit and loss, forecast vs. budget, and cash flow- Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures- Maintain outstanding relationships with business partners- Lead by example displaying GM behaviors, commitment to personal development and dedication to crafting a positive Workplace of Choice culture- Provides understanding of the bigger picture and how projects relates to operational strategy / Enterprise goals- Anticipate partner needs (proactive vs. reactive)

- Budget and forecast process: development, control and reporting for manufacturing cost plant
- Forecast & budget elaboration for Labor cost accounts and updating financial system (GMPS)
- Forecast & budget elaboration for Indirect material accounts and updating financial system (GPCS)
- Provide financial guide to plant operative and manufacturing areas, cost saving initiatives & special projects
- Responsible of month end activities with all productive areas to achieve forecast/budget including SUPP as applicable
- Cost Council yearly implementation; tracking and target attainment
- Budget preparation for all productive areas, analyzing possible risks and gaps to achieve financial targets.
- Support, analyze & ensure implementation of strategies to improve financial performance.
- Business case analysis to improve productivity, efficiencies & generate sustainable savings.
- Responsible to validate the BPD level II for one dimension in the finance team.
- Timely & accurate cost variance explanations (J1, 1240, 1210, volume & mix templates)
- Develop executive monthly presentations
- Shopping Carts & Shippers check and approver
- GMS Support
- MEI / KPI tracking for "Cost" for each Plant
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with operations team to develop cost savings initiatives for plant.
• Provide financial support for all capital projects including analysis of cash flow statements, balance sheets, income statements, return on investment (ROI), internal rate of return (IRR), net present value (NPV).
• Participate in business reviews for North America manufacturing plants.
• Lead financial modeling and data mining efforts related to productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Develop business case justification for all major capital expenditures.
• Assist plant manager with strategic planning activities.
• Manage working relationships with various functional areas within the plant such as purchasing, engineering, human resources, maintenance, etc.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures.
• Perform monthly variance analysis for key performance indicators.
• Develop monthly forecasts and provide commentary on actual versus budget results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related experience. ; Master's degree preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in English and Spanish languages is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- Experience with SAP and Oracle applications is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
