As a Site Support Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and peripherals. You will also document, maintain, upgrade, and replace hardware and software systems as needed.

This role is responsible for monitoring service delivery and health of the environment, Frequent contact with others outside the work group. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
  • Training, education and/or experience in Computer Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

  • Provide front-line IT support for all onsite technology including PCs, handheld scanners, printers, thin clients, kiosks, VoIP phones, WMS terminals, and warehouse IoT devices.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Execute daily operational checks to ensure devices, networks, and automation systems are functioning correctly.
  • Support user account requests, onboarding/offboarding, access changes, and workstation deployments.
  • Perform device imaging, patching, firmware updates, and lifecycle management.


Automation & Warehouse Systems


  • Support automated systems including ASRS, AutoStore, ICS, printers, and MEC-connected equipment.
  • Assist engineers and vendors with onsite troubleshooting during outages or maintenance windows.
  • Maintain operational continuity during ASRS or automation-related incidents.


Project & Deployment Support


  • Support enterprise initiatives including WMS Infor rollouts, 802.1x deployment, OSWAT, digital slotting, and network modernization.
  • Participate in go-live activities, cutovers, weekend maintenance windows, and after-hours support as needed.
  • Conduct onsite validation testing and provide feedback to project teams.
  • Execute device and infrastructure readiness tasks for new facility expansions (ex: Davison Road).


Data & Extract Reduction


  • Assist with extract cleanup, data verification, and process improvement work to reduce manual, non-value-added tasks at the site.
  • Partner with operations teams to ensure consistent reporting, accuracy, and compliance with CCA standards.


Site Documentation & Standards


  • Maintain site inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with GM security policies.
  • Keep process documentation, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides up to date.
  • Contribute to standardization of configurations, device setup, and IT workflows across all CCA sites.


Collaboration & Customer Service


  • Partner with site leadership, supervisors, and operators to understand issues impacting throughput or quality.
  • Escalate high-impact issues to central teams (Network, Cybersecurity, WMS, ASRS Engineering, etc.).
  • Demonstrate strong communication and customer-service skills aligned with GM core behaviors (One Team, It's On Me, Innovate & Embrace Change).

Effective Communication:

  • Uses effective written and verbal communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams and facilitate discussions that prioritize customer needs.

Knowledge:

  • Intermediate knowledge of the ITIL framework, with the ability to apply service management principles to streamline IT operations, including incident, change, and problem management.
  • Advanced proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing computerized systems, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral hardware across diverse environments.
  • Advanced understanding of remote support tools and incident ticketing systems, enabling efficient resolution of technical issues, accurate documentation, and effective communication with end users and support teams.

Additional Job Description Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Success obtained a College Diploma or University Degree in a related field and / or equivalent experience.
  • Possess 3-5 years of IT experience supporting end-user devices in an enterprise environment. (PC, printers, scanners, mobile phones, tablets, etc.)
  • Experience with basic network concepts
  • Ability to work on rotating shifts, Weekends and Holidays when required.

  • Hands-on IT support experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, and peripherals
  • Strong Windows support skills, including remote assistance and desktop management
  • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, wireless and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Familiarity with IT security tools and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to support Android, Apple and Windows devices in enterprise environments
  • The ability to work effectively with and as part of a team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and shared success.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $64,100.00 to $96,200.00. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
