Ingeniero Ambiental
Description
- Responsible for developing/maintaining/supporting robust and consistent environmental stewardship program strategies in support of GM's mission to deliver sustainable solutions that improve the communities in which we live and work.
- Experienced in at least one of the main environmental programs (air permits and regulation, water permits and regulations, or waste regulations)
- Engages with Domain Experts as necessary to ensure continual improvement and support new program/project implementation.
- Key collaboration with plant management and employees, FAMs, regulatory agencies, internal and external community leaders and members, legal staff, GM and external audit services, utility service provides (WWTP & PH), Project Planning teams at sites & HQ, domain experts and chemical and resource management business partners.
Knowledge
- Knowledge in environmental areas within automotive or manufacturing environments.
- Skills in project requirements management, social responsibility initiatives, and wildlife conservation within industrial complexes.
- Multifaceted expertise in waste management, chemical administration, water permit management, and handling environmental databases.
- Experience or established contacts with environmental authorities such as SEMARNAT and PROFEPA .
- Experience in planning and executing wildlife-related projects.
- Desirable knowledge of ISO 14001 .
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools and database administration.

Education
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering with environmental experience, Energy Engineering, or related fields, or relevant experience.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of experience in environmental roles, preferably in automotive or manufacturing industries.
English Level
- Intermediate-advanced level , able to maintain professional conversations.
Work Appropriately
- On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis.
