General Assembly Industrial Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Process Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Focus:
- Develop, improve, and sustain manufacturing processes.
- Support equipment installation, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Lead process documentation including PFMEA, control plans, and process flow diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomic requirements.
- Conduct time & motion studies, balance lines, and optimize manpower allocation.
- Develop and maintain standardized work, work instructions, and labor models.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement productivity improvements.
- Lead layout changes using lean principles.
- Support capacity planning and resource modeling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or relevant experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations (automotive preferred).
- Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience with time studies, standardized work, and line balancing.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate English level, capable of holding a conversation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in General Assembly / automotive components.
- Knowledge of MES systems and digital manufacturing tools.
- Experience leading improvement projects.
- Knowledge of ergonomics and safety design.
-Six Sigma and Green Belt certification.
-APS system knowledge.

This role is categorized as onsite. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location on a full-time basis.
The selected candidate will be required to travel on a regular basis (25-50%) for this role.
