Role Overview

This role plays a key part in shaping and optimizing our facilities and workspaces to support efficient, compliant, and high-performing operations. You'll collaborate closely with internal partners and external firms to plan, design, and execute facility improvements that support our business needs today and into the future.

Location: Austin, Texas

What You'll Do

  • Plan and manage facility, office, and production equipment layout changes to maximize efficiency, space utilization, and operational effectiveness
  • Partner with architecture and engineering firms to develop design criteria, layouts, and detailed drawings
  • Prepare bid packages and support contract development for construction and facility acquisitions
  • Estimate and evaluate project costs, including equipment, labor, materials, installation, and related expenses
  • Monitor construction and installation progress to ensure alignment with drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards
  • Ensure all projects meet applicable building codes, safety requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Develop performance specifications to support unique operational and compliance needs
  • Apply standard engineering and facility planning principles to solve problems of moderate scope, using sound judgment and analytical thinking
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Contribute to project success and broader organizational goals through collaboration and execution

What We're Looking For

  • A university degree with 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Working knowledge of facility planning, construction coordination, and project execution
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and apply structured problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Comfort working independently on routine tasks, with guidance provided for new or complex projects

Forcepoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range and variable compensation for this role is 70,000.00 - 95,000.00 and represents the low and high end of compensation for this position. Actual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to, location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Forcepoint's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits
