The opportunity: 

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and data-driven leader to spearhead the Product and Analytics function for Flexport Capital. In this pivotal role, you will be one of the three core pillars of the team, working alongside leads for Sales and Credit to shape the future of trade finance.

You will have ownership of the product roadmap, program management, and analytics for Flexport Capital. You will lead and mentor a team of 2-3 direct reports, driving innovation and execution in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is excited to roll up their sleeves, initiate change, and own the product experience from end to end.

You will:

  • Serve as the Product & Analytics pillar lead for Flexport Capital, collaborating closely with Sales and Credit counterparts to drive overall business strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 2-3 product and analytics professionals.
  • Lead the product, AI, and analytics roadmap for Flexport Capital.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy for Flexport’s lending and payment products.
  • Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle and product experience on the Flexport Capital platform.
  • Serve as the lead program manager for Flexport Capital, driving cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with Technology, Operations, and Sales teams.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure that product enhancements deliver a measurable impact on the business.
  • Drive the AI and automation strategy, working to structure both front-end and back-end systems for greater efficiency and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support tech-enabled go-to-market (GTM) initiatives and build external GTM channels like SEO and customer-facing portals.
  • Become a domain expert on the financial technology market and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

  • A BA/BS degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or Math; an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience (Fintech, Bigtech), with a focus on cross-functional product or project management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring direct reports is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical competence, with the ability to effectively discuss data models and services with engineering teams.
  • Hands-on technical skills with SQL, Python, AI agents, or automation tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, balancing accuracy and efficiency with strong attention to detail.
  • The courage to challenge the status quo and a commitment to improving existing processes.
  • Experience with software/systems implementation is a plus.
