Job summary:
Reporting to the Head of Program Management, the VP of Program Management, Healthcare will be responsible for leading the program management function for the Healthcare Business Unit (BU). You will lead a global team of new product introduction (NPI) program managers to launch new customer programs into our worldwide factories. You will be accountable for NPI and launch execution across all manufacturing locations and engagement models. You will be part of the Healthcare BU President's executive leadership team and work closely with the heads of business development, account management, design, supply chain, and operations, as well as with key customer executives. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the product development process, lifecycle, and regulatory environment for the medical and healthcare industry.

What a typical day looks like:
- Lead a team of program managers responsible for program status and issues, assess risks, drive corrective actions, and ensure successful program execution.
- Engage functional executives on BU leadership team to align and drive business and customer strategies, ensure resources assigned, resolve issues, etc.
- Collaborate with customer executives to define win-win partnerships, scope new programs, and resolve issues and escalations for ongoing programs.
- Drive continuous improvement in overall product development and NPI processes to improve program execution.
- Define metrics to measure program performance and regularly report on performance across portfolio of programs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the BU President, to develop and implement strategic programs and initiatives.
- Develop people and build team for world-class program management and execution
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 15 years of experience in product development, NPI, and manufacturing including program management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in cross-functional program management spanning design engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing
- Direct customer-facing experience including definition of new program scope, business terms, program execution, and issue resolution
- Strong knowledge of program management and development processes and tools (e.g. phase/gate processes, Agile, MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA).
- Demonstrated organizational leadership and development
- P/L experience and strong financial acumen.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.

The base pay range for this position is provided below. The final base rate offered will be determined using job-related, non-discriminatory criteria, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, geographic location, education, external market data, and internal equity.
