Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an [ Tooling Engineer ] located in [ Shanghai WGQ ].
Reporting to the [ Engineering Manager ], the [ Tooling Engineer's ] is responsible for stamping tooling strategy and full lifecycle management, driving tooling development, process optimization, and quality improvement.

What a typical day looks like :
- Define and lead sheet metal stamping tooling engineering strategy
- Lead die concept review including strip layout and feasibility
- Lead forming simulation and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Act as technical authority for risk assessment.
- Oversee full lifecycle of die development
- Lead root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions
- Optimize tool design to improve yield, cycle time, and tool life
- Define tooling supplier technical standards and acceptance criteria
- Minimum 10~15 years of stamping tooling experience
- 5+ years in technical leadership or team management
- Strong experience in galvanized sheet stamping (1.0-2.5mm)
- Proven experience in enclosure products (chassis, covers, brackets)
- Hands-on experience in progressive, transfer, and single-operation die.
- Experience in developing deep drawing/complex forming molds
- The entire process of mold development (design → manufacturing → trial mold → mass production)
